Game 1 - Lincoln Land Loggers Fall To Three Rivers College After Surrendering Big Sixth Inning

Three Rivers College defeated Lincoln Land Loggers 9-0 on Thursday thanks in part to five runs in the sixth inning. Three Rivers College got on the board in the first inning after Madison Wooldridge singled, scoring one run. Three Rivers College added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Shelby Bowling doubled down the left field line, Erica Ross grounded out, and Wriley Taylor singled to center field, each scoring one run.

Three Rivers College scored five runs on two hits in the top of the sixth inning. Madison Wooldridge singled, scoring one run, Reagan Jonas induced Erica Ross to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, Tori Stinnett drew a walk, scoring one run, Wriley Taylor grounded out, scoring one run, and an error scored one run.

Olivia Crabb earned the win for Three Rivers College. The starter gave up two hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out eight and walking two. Brooke Boden took the loss for Lincoln Land Loggers. The pitcher went four innings, allowing four runs on nine hits, striking out two and walking none. Shelby Finchum went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Lincoln Land Loggers in hits.

Three Rivers College collected 12 hits in the game. Madison Wooldridge led Three Rivers College with three hits in four at bats. Wriley Taylor, Madison Wooldridge, and Erica Ross each drove in two runs for Three Rivers College. Jayce Jarvis and Abi Jorgensen each collected multiple hits for Three Rivers College. Three Rivers College stole three bases in the game.

Game 2 - Lincoln Land Loggers Breeze Past Three Rivers College

Lincoln Land Loggers easily dispatched Three Rivers College on Thursday, 9-1. A double by Reagan Jonas put Lincoln Land Loggers on the board in the bottom of the first. J Jarvis walked, which helped Three Rivers College tie the game at one in the top of the second.

In the bottom of the fourth, Lincoln Land Loggers broke up the tie when Abby Mcdonald singled, scoring one run. Then a single by Maddie Adams followed to extend the lead to 4-1.

Lincoln Land Loggers added two more runs in the bottom of the sixth inning on four hits. Shelby Finchum hit a solo home run to center field, and Abby Mcdonald singled, scoring one run.

Faith Nestler earned the win for Lincoln Land Loggers. The pitcher surrendered four hits and one run (zero earned) over six innings, striking out nine and walking three. E Ross took the loss for Three Rivers College. The hurler went five innings, allowing nine runs (five earned) on 14 hits, striking out eight and walking one.

Lincoln Land Loggers piled up 14 hits in the game. Reagan Jonas led Lincoln Land Loggers with four hits in four at bats. Maddie Adams and Abby Mcdonald each drove in three runs for Lincoln Land Loggers. Shelby Finchum collected two hits for Lincoln Land Loggers in four at bats.

A McNeese, L Pasley, A Jorgensen, and M Hefner each collected one hit for Three Rivers College. J Jarvis led Three Rivers College with one run batted in. 

Lincoln Land Loggers play at home on Saturday against Heartland Hawks in their next game.
