The Loggers swept Hawkeye Community College 25-15, 25-10, 25-10. Morgan Cowdrey and Harper Darr led the Loggers in kills with 9 each, Savannah Kaeb followed right behind with 8, Gracie Brockett had 6 kills, Ella Kinkelaar had 5, Laynee Whitsitt had 4, and our DS/Liberos Izzy Lynch and Kaylee Abens each contributed 2 kills. The Loggers hit a .387 collectively. Ella Kinkelaar had 31 assists, while Izzy Lynch had 8. Harper Darr was on fire at the service line with 4 aces, Ella Kinkelaar had 3, Gracie Brockett with 2, and Izzy Lynch had 1. Harper Darr led the Loggers defense in digs with 12, Morgan Cowdrey with 11, Izzy Lynch with 10, Ella Kinkelaar had 8 digs, and Kaylee Abens had 6. Savannah Kaeb, Gracie Brockett, and Laynee Whitsitt each had 1 solo block. 

    The Loggers played Des Moines Area Community College right after and lost in a 5 set thriller 23-25, 25-17, 21-25, 25-20, 7-15. The Loggers defense was on fire, earning a total of 94 digs as a team. Libero Izzy Lynch picked up an impressive 27 digs, Harper Darr had 19, Morgan Cowdrey earned 18 digs, Ella Kinkelaar picked up 16, and Kaylee Abens had 11 digs. Savannah Kaeb and Laynee Whitsitt each had 2 solo blocks, Ella Kinkelaar had 2 solo blocks and 1 block assist, Gracie Brockett earned 1 solo block and 1 block assist. Ella Kinkelaar put up 39 assists and had 10 kills, earning her first triple-double as a Logger. Gracie Brockett led the Loggers in kills with 12, Morgan Cowdrey earned 11, Harper Darr had 9 kills, and Savannah Kaeb had 6. Izzy Lynch was powerful at the service line with 5 aces, Ella Kinkelaar had 3, and Gracie Brockett, Morgan Cowdrey, Kaylee Abens, and Harper Darr each earned 2 aces. 

    The Loggers play their final home match this Wednesday against St. Mary of the Woods College-JV at 6 pm to honor their sophomores. Please wear pink or white for Pink Out.
