Lincoln Land falls to 1-2 in conference play after a road loss in East Peoria 74-49 to the Cougars of Illinois Central College. 

ICC started the game on a 7-0 run and the evening never got too much better from there for the Loggers. Lincoln Land was able to keep the game tight in the opening minutes, but with just under 15:00 on the clock and trailing 9-8 the Loggers went ice cold. Lincoln Land went on an over 8:00 scoring drought and ICC went on a 15-0 run that essentially put the game out of reach. Lincoln Land was only able to get as close as 15 for the remainder of the half and were down as many as 23. Going in to half, Lincoln Land trailed 36-16, the lowest scoring output in a half all season. Lincoln Land did muster up a little but of a comeback and fought their way back to within 15 shortly after the first media time out. Illinois Central College responded with an 11-0 run and the game was officially out of reach. The Loggers trailed by as many as 30 on the way to the final of Illinois Central 74 - Lincoln Land 49. 

Not much went right statistically for the Loggers on Wednesday evening. Camden Nelson was the only Logger to get to double digits with 12 points. Gus McCrary ended with 9 and a team high 6 rebounds. 

Lincoln Land now stumbles to 3-13 on the season and 1-2 in MWAC play. The road does not get any easier as Danville Area Community College comes to Springfield Saturday afternoon for their next game.
