LLCC vs North Iowa Area Community College:
The Logger's Volleyball team started off their 2024 season opener with a nail-biting, 5 set win over North Iowa Area Community College in the Opening Weekend Tournament. 

Peyton Bergschneider finished the match with a double-double with 15 kills and 13 digs. Adi White tacked on 12 more kills for the Loggers. Ella Kinkelaar contributed 10 digs, with help from Kaylee Abens with 9. Setter Hailee Daigh put up 22 assists, followed by Ella Kinkelaar with 13. 

The Loggers won the match 25-18, 19-25, 25-22, 23-25, 18-16. 

LLCC vs Black Hawk College: 
The Loggers finished out day 1 with a sweep against Black Hawk College 25-18, 25-20, 25-13. 

Peyton Bergschneider led the Loggers with  an impressive .542 hitting percentage, totaling 13 kills. Freshman setter, Ella Kinkelaar, had 14 assists and 6 digs. Hailee Daigh contributed 10 assists as well. Libero, Kaylee Abens, and Bergschneider both led the team in digs with 7. As a team, the Loggers tallied 11 aces from the service line. 

The Loggers will take on Macomb Community College and Joliet Junior College on Sunday to finish out Opening Weekend Tournament.
