G1 - Parkland Cobras
The Parkland Cobras scored eight runs in the fourth inning, which helped them defeat the Loggers 15-2 on Friday. The Parkland Cobras opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to two doubles. The Parkland Cobras first got on the board when Lizzie Stiverson doubled, scoring one run. Ellie Vetter hit a solo home run to center field in the top of the second for the Parkland Cobras.
The Parkland Cobras scored two runs in the top of the third on a home run to left field by Lexie Griffin. The Parkland Cobras scored eight runs on eight hits in the top of the fourth inning. Alisha Frederick doubled, scoring two runs, Karley Yergler singled, scoring one run, Griffin hit a grand slam to center field, and a steal of home scored one run. Yergler earned the win for the Parkland Cobras. The right-handed pitcher allowed zero hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out five and walking none. Maranda File took the loss for the Loggers.
They went three innings, surrendering five runs (three earned) on seven hits, striking out none and walking none. Allie Dolenc drove the middle of the lineup, leading the Loggers with two runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-2 on the day. Dolenc and Ryleigh Davidson each collected one hit for the Loggers.
The Parkland Cobras piled up 18 hits in the game. Yergler and Mia Ruder each collected three hits for the Parkland Cobras. Griffin went 2-for-3 at the plate as the right-handed hitter led the team with six runs batted in. Vetter, Stiverson, and Ryleigh Owens each collected multiple hits for the Parkland Cobras. The Parkland Cobras were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Griffin made the most plays with six.

The Parkland Cobras defeated the Loggers 11-3 on Friday thanks in part to six runs in the fifth inning. The Parkland Cobras opened the scoring in the second after Ryleigh Owens singled, scoring one run. The Parkland Cobras scored six runs on five hits in the top of the fifth inning. Alisha Frederick doubled, scoring two runs, Mia Ruder scored after tagging up, Lexie Griffin doubled, scoring two runs, and Ellie Vetter singled, scoring one run. Haley Willan homered to left field, scoring three runs in the bottom of the fifth for the Loggers.
Owens earned the win for the Parkland Cobras. The lefty surrendered three hits and zero runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking one. Kaylee Yost took the loss for the Loggers. The starting pitcher went four and two-thirds innings, giving up 11 runs on 12 hits, striking out two and walking six.
The Loggers Bridgette Royer made the most of their chances at the plate. The number eight hitter led the team with two hits in two at bats. Willan led the Loggers with three runs batted in. They went 1-for-1 on the day.
The Parkland Cobras tallied 13 hits in the game. Frederick, Griffin, Tori Thomas, Owens, and Ruder each collected two hits for the Parkland Cobras. Frederick, Griffin, and Lizzie Stiverson each drove in three runs for the Parkland Cobras. The Parkland Cobras had patience at the plate, accumulating six walks for the game. Karley Yergler and Ruder led the team with two free passes each. The Parkland Cobras were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Griffin made the most plays with nine.
