The Loggers traveled to Cedar Rapids, Iowa to play in the Kirkwood Invitational.

The unranked Loggers took down #14 Sauk Valley in 4 sets. Isabel Hudspeth had another double double with 11 kills and 12 digs taking on 6 aces. Bella Powell also had 11 kills, while Carly Michels lead the Loggers with 12 kills on 22 attempts hitting .455%. Emily Veach had 19 assists playing the first half of the match and Kenna Bixby finishing out the last 2 sets, adding 11 assists. Final set scores 25-20, 31-29, 22-25 and 25-14.

The Loggers then took on Johnson County Community College, the #1 team in NJCAA Division II. The Loggers are only the second team this season to take a set from Johnson County. The Loggers went down the first 2 sets to JCCC 18-25. The Loggers came back in the third set winning 25-19 before falling in then forth. Kenna Bixby came up big again, posting a double double with 15 assists and 13 digs after coming in to set for the last 3 sets.

The Loggers return to action tomorrow playing at 9:00 am & 3:00 pm against #13 McHenry County and #3 Kirkwood.
