Hannah Werth takes over Volleyball program at Lincoln Land

Lincoln Land Community College has named Hannah Werth, Springfield native, as the new Head Women's Volleyball Coach. Werth served half of last season as the volunteer assistant to Coach Kaylee Beekman. Beekman will continue as the Loggers Assistant Coach.

Werth was one of the Nation's top high school volleyball players attending Glenwood High School, (2006 - 2009) playing under legendary Coach, Larry Sample. Werth established and holds the Illinois High School State Career Kills Record with 2,022.

Other top high school honors include National First-Team All-American by the AVCA, Under Armour All-American MVP in 2008 and named the 2008 Gatorade Illinois High School Player of the Year.

Werth competed and represented the Women's U.S. Junior National Team & played Club Volleyball for Coach Andy Erins at Illini Elite Volleyball Club (2006 - 2008).

Werth went on to earn All-American honors as an Outside Hitter for University of Nebraska, finishing her career with 1,286 kills and 1,367 digs.

Werth continued her playing career after college as a Professional Volleyball Player representing teams in leagues in Puerto Rico and Italy

Werth is the creator and owner of The Hannah Werth Volleyball Academy. This small business has been providing elite level training opportunities for athletes throughout the Midwest for the last 7 years.

"I could not be more excited to represent my hometown and community in a new venture as Head Coach for the Lincoln Land Volleyball Program, alongside amazing coaches and student athletes."
