The Logger Baseball team received 20 votes in the first poll of the 2021 season. They are ranked 21st in the pre season heading into their opener on February 20th in Jacksonville against the Blue Boys of Illinois College.

Coach Riggle is looking forward to the 2021 Campaign and is anxious to get back on the diamond."Fortunately Mother Nature was very kind to us last fall, we were allowed to practice a lot longer than usual". He also states  "it was key for us to get the extra reps in last fall with the High School players not having a spring season and a limited summer schedule coupled with the returners only playing 10 games last Spring".

The roster consists of 15 returners and 16 newcomers to the program. A total of 16 Pitchers could see time on the mound with 20 position players competing for time on the field. Internal competition is always going to make us a better ball club adds Riggle, we have a lot of options to choose from".

"Opening day will be here before you know it, We will need to work hard in order to be prepared for the season opener as we are scheduled to play in only 5 weeks from the start of the indoor training portion of the Spring season concludes Coach Riggle".
