Loggers Falls To South Florida State College After Eighth Inning Score

Loggers lost the lead late in a 5-2 defeat to South Florida State College on Sunday. South Florida State College trailed 2-1 in the bottom of the eighth inning when Deven Tedders singled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.

South Florida State College knotted the game up at one in the bottom of the fifth inning. Casey Asman drove in one when he tripled.

Jack Keeler was the winning pitcher for South Florida State College. He lasted four innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out three and walking zero. Connor Gleeson threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Jesus Fernandez took the loss for Loggers. He lasted three and a third innings, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out one.
