The Lincoln Land Logger men's basketball team fell in their last game of the regular season 106-61 to Parkland Community College.
Earlier in the year due to injuries the Loggers were with only 6 players against the Cobras so tonight they hoped for a better results. Unfortunately, the game got away from LLCC in the first half. The Loggers found themselves doubled up for most of the day and it all begin earlier in the first half. At the break LLCC trailed 48-25. The second half faired no better for Lincoln Land who trailed by over 50 at times. The Loggers also were doubled up on rebounding, losing that battle 42-21.
Lincoln Land was led by freshmen Keon Jones who ended with team highs in both points (20) and rebounds (8). Freshmen DaRius Brewington (13), Jered Cain and Garik HIll with 12 a piece, were the only other Loggers to get to double digits.
Lincoln Land ends the regular season with a record of 4-26 and 0-10 in MWAC play. They will return to Champaign
next Wednesday to take on Parkland again to start NJCAA Region 24 play.
