In a men's basketball rematch with Lewis and Clark Community College, who defeated the Loggers 101-57 earlier in the season, the game went a similar way for LLCC who dropped the contest 98-55.
The first half was a competitive contest that saw the Loggers out-rebound, 25-17, and out-shoot, 38%-30%, a three pointer by sophomore Jordan Brooks at the buzzer brought the game to a 36-32 Lewis and Clark advantage. Despite that effort, the tale of the game was the second half. The Loggers committed 10 turnovers, got out-rebounded 39-15, and shot 1/17 from behind the arc and got blown out 62-23 in the half.
The Loggers had three players in double digits: freshmen Keon Jones led the way with 15 and pulled in a team high 14 boards, Brooks added 12, and freshmen Darius Brewington also ended with 12.
Lincoln Land falls to 2-15 on the season. They head back on the road Wednesday to take on St. Louis Community College.
