Box Score GAME ONE - Lincoln Land Loggers Walks Away Victorious Over Danville Area CC, 5-3

Lincoln Land Loggers wins contest against Danville Area CC on Sunday, 5-3

Danville Area CC opened up scoring in the first inning, when Lauren Proehl singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. Lincoln Land Loggers evened things up at one in the bottom of the first inning when an error scored one run for Lincoln Land Loggers. Lincoln Land Loggers pulled away for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third Hailey Patrick doubled on a 2-0 count, scoring two runs and Brooke Webber singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Jacey Nall was the winning pitcher for Lincoln Land Loggers. She lasted seven innings, allowing six hits and three runs while striking out two. Hannah Ogg took the loss for Danville Area CC. She lasted six innings, allowing 12 hits and five runs while striking out three.

Lincoln Land Loggers tallied 12 hits on the day.  Kaley Mauer and Katelyn Turbyfill each collected multiple hits for Lincoln Land Loggers.  Mauer went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead Lincoln Land Loggers in hits.  Lincoln Land Loggers didn't commit a single error in the field. Nicole Robinson had the most chances in the field with seven.

GAME TWO - Lincoln Land Loggers Can't Catch Up To Danville Area CC

Lincoln Land Loggers fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 22-5 loss to Danville Area CC on Sunday. Danville Area CC scored on a home run by Taylor Gunn, a double by Kelly Smith, a double by Kamryn Latimore, and a double by Amanda Hartman in the first inning.
The Lincoln Land Loggers struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Danville Area CC, giving up 22 runs. Danville Area CC got on the board in the first inning when Gunn homered on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.

Lincoln Land Loggers tallied three runs in the third inning. The offensive firepower by Lincoln Land Loggers was led by Madie Sims and Katelyn Turbyfill, who all drove in runs.

Danville Area CC scored eight runs in the fourth inning. Danville Area CC batters contributing to the big inning included Brianna Tatar, Tonya Faulkner, and Smith, who each had RBIs in the inning.

Hartman took the win for Danville Area CC. She lasted two and two-thirds innings, allowing four hits and five runs while striking out one and walking one.  Hannah Ogg threw two and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen. Megan Behl took the loss for Lincoln Land Loggers. She went one and two-thirds innings, allowing 14 runs on 14 hits, striking out one and walking one.

Lincoln Land Loggers socked one home run on the day. Sims went yard in the first inning.

Lincoln Land Loggers tallied eight hits in the game.  Sims and Hailey Patrick each managed multiple hits for Lincoln Land Loggers.  Patrick and Sims each collected two hits to lead Lincoln Land Loggers.

Danville Area CC totaled 22 hits in the game.  Gunn, Smith, Tatar, Hailee Gifford, Danielle Brewer, and Faulkner each had multiple hits for Danville Area CC. Danville Area CC was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Gifford made the most plays with six.
