GAME ONE - Lincoln Land Loggers Beats Heartland CC By Six Runs

Lincoln Land Loggers easily did away with Heartland CC 9-3 on Monday

Heartland CC opened up scoring in the first inning, when an error scored one run for Heartland CC. Lincoln Land Loggers tallied four runs in the fourth inning.  Lincoln Land Loggers offense in the inning was led by Abigail Walters, Hailey Patrick, and Madie Sims, who each had RBIs in the inning.

Jacey Nall earned the victory on the rubber for Lincoln Land Loggers. She lasted seven innings, allowing seven hits and three runs while striking out five. Tijanne Ross took the loss for Heartland CC. She surrendered seven runs on seven hits over three and two-thirds innings, striking out one. Heartland CC smacked two home runs on the day. Molly Walter went for the long ball in the fifth inning. Danielle Ladendorf had a four bagger in the sixth inning.

Lincoln Land Loggers totaled 12 hits.  Katelyn Turbyfill, Brooke Webber, and Walters all managed multiple hits for Lincoln Land Loggers.  Turbyfill led Lincoln Land Loggers with three hits in four at bats.

Abbey Walsh went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Heartland CC in hits.

GAME TWO - Lincoln Land Loggers Falls To Heartland CC After Sixth Inning Score

Lincoln Land Loggers lost the lead late in a 6-2 defeat to Heartland CC on Monday. The game was tied at one with Heartland CC batting in the bottom of the sixth when an error scored three runs for Heartland CC.

Lincoln Land Loggers got on the board in the first inning.  Nicole Robinson doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.
In the bottom of the third inning, Heartland CC tied things up at one when Danielle Ladendorf singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Sarah Crebo was the winning pitcher for Heartland CC. She allowed five hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out five and walking zero. Megan Behl took the loss for Lincoln Land Loggers. She lasted six innings, allowing ten hits and six runs while striking out three and walking one.

Kari Sarhage, Hailey Patrick, Katelyn Turbyfill, Robinson, and Brooke Webber all had one hit to lead Lincoln Land Loggers. Heartland CC totaled ten hits in the game.  Madison Scott, Jasmine McCormick, and Molly Walter each had multiple hits for Heartland CC.

Heartland CC didn't commit a single error in the field. Alysa Martin had the most chances in the field with six.
