GAME ONE - Lincoln Land Loggers Takes Victory Over Pasco-Hernando CC, 5-3

Lincoln Land Loggers took home a 5-3 victory over Pasco-Hernando CC on Saturday.

Lincoln Land Loggers opened up scoring in the first inning.  Lincoln Land Loggers scored two runs when Katie Weller doubled.

In the bottom of the second inning, Pasco-Hernando CC tied things up at two when Tierra Riley singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.

Lincoln Land Loggers pulled away for good with three runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Katelyn Turbyfill doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run, Abigail Walters singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, and Hailey Patrick grounded out, scoring one run.

Megan Behl earned the victory on the rubber for Lincoln Land Loggers. She allowed 11 hits and three runs over seven innings, striking out three. Jaylin Gant took the loss for Pasco-Hernando CC. She went two innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits and walking one. Andrea Del Toro started the game for Pasco-Hernando CC. She allowed ten hits and five runs over five innings, striking out one and walking one

Lincoln Land Loggers racked up ten hits in the game.  Weller, Brooke Webber, and Shaye Virgin each collected multiple hits for Lincoln Land Loggers.  Virgin, Webber, and Weller all had two hits to lead Lincoln Land Loggers.  Lincoln Land Loggers didn't commit a single error in the field. Virgin had the most chances in the field with seven. Pasco-Hernando CC collected 11 hits on the day.  Diana Rayder, Alyssa Baratta, and Emma Sica each managed multiple hits for Pasco-Hernando CC.  Rayder went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Pasco-Hernando CC in hits. Pasco-Hernando CC didn't commit a single error in the field. Rayder had eight chances in the field, the most on the team.

GAME TWO - Lincoln Land Loggers Can't Catch Up To Hillsborough CC

Lincoln Land Loggers watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in an 11-3 loss to Hillsborough CC on Saturday. Hillsborough CC scored on a single by Daniela Bautista, a double by Dominique Mannerino, a single by Rebecca Davey, a single by Jordyn Frank, and a sacrifice fly by Kally Martin in the first inning.

The Lincoln Land Loggers struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Hillsborough CC, giving up 11 runs.

Hillsborough CC got on the board in the first inning.  Bautista drove in one when she singled.

Tati Watts got the win for Hillsborough CC. She allowed seven hits and three runs over six innings, striking out two. Alyssa DeSpain took the loss for Lincoln Land Loggers. She went three and two-thirds innings, allowing nine runs on 12 hits.

Kari Sarhage led Lincoln Land Loggers with two hits in three at bats. Hillsborough CC racked up 13 hits on the day.  Gabie Bello, Bautista, Mannerino, and Juliana Uribe each racked up multiple hits for Hillsborough CC.
