Lincoln Land Baseball sweeps DH from Erie CC

The Lincoln Land Baseball team won a double header from Erie CC 13-3 and 11-6 in 8 innings. In game one, the Loggers were led offensively by Jesus Fernandez, who went 3-3 with a double and 2 RBI's. As a team the Loggers drew 9 walks and 5 HBP. On the mound, Adam Deal pitched 6 innings giving up 2 hits and had 7 K's. 

In game two, the Loggers trailed by two heading into the 7th inning and tied the game up in the 7th. The hot hitting Loggers scored 5 times in the top of the 8th to win the game. Dustin Lyon was 3-4 with a double. Talon File was 3-3 with a double and 3 RBI's. Beau Atkins got the win throwing 1 1/3 while allowing no hits and striking out 2. 

The Loggers are now 9-3 and finish their Florida trip tomorrow with a single game against Lakeland(OH) at noon CST.
