GAME ONE - Lincoln Land Loggers Claims Lead In Fourth Inning To Defeat Millikin University
Lincoln Land Loggers defeated Millikin University 11-3 on Sunday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at two with Lincoln Land Loggers batting in the top of the fourth when an error scored one run for Lincoln Land Loggers.
Millikin University got things started in the first inning when Cassie Reed grounded out, scoring one run. Lincoln Land Loggers pulled away for good with three runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Katelyn Turbyfill grounded out, scoring one run and Katie Jarrett singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

Megan Behl had all the right stuff on Sunday for Lincoln Land Loggers, allowing zero runs and besting Millikin University by a score of 3-0
The pitching was strong on both sides. Behl struck out three, while Millikin University pitchers sat down eight. A double by Kailey Pulec in the first inning was a positive for Millikin University. Behl earned the victory in the pitcher's circle for Lincoln Land Loggers. She allowed eight hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out three and walking one.
Madyson Stallcup took the loss for Millikin University. She surrendered three runs on eight hits over four innings, striking out two.
Aly Armstrong started the game for Millikin University. She went three innings, allowing zero runs on three hits, striking out six and walking zero
