The Loggers opened their 2019 season with a pair of wins against College of DuPage. The Loggers won 6-4 and 6-1 in the games that were played at Sacred Heart Griffin HS.

Adam Deal (1-0) was the winning pitcher in game one. He went 4 innings and had 7 K's. Cole Greer had 3 SB's in the game. Talon File had a SAC fly in the 4th inning to give the Loggers the lead for good. Ben Chapman led off the bottom of the 6th with a triple and scored the Loggers final run on a Cayden Muench RBI groundout. 

Lee Hardiek (1-0) made his Lincoln Land debut in game two with a solid relief appearance. Hardiek came in after starter Spence Walker went 4 innings. In Hardiek's 3 innings he struck out 2 and only allowed 1 hit. The Loggers were down 1-0 into the 5th inning when Jared Viele came up with a big 2 RBI single to give the Loggers the lead for good. The Loggers scored 3 more runs in the 6th to finish out the scoring.
