ICC defeats LLCC 25-22, 17-25, 26-24, 25-18

LLCC fell to ICC on Wednesday, sealing a 3rd place finish in the Region and meaning LLCC will be heading to Peoria for the Region championship on November 9.

"We played well tonight at times, but we had a mental lapse to start the night," Coach Dietz said, talking about the initial run of four Logger errors that proved the eventual difference in the 25-22 first set.  "We did the same at 24-24 in the third when we did the campfire--that's where you watch as the ball goes right in between several people.  That was the turning point in the match.  Once you fall behind by a set, you have to press and that leads to additional errors.   Still, we started getting right some of the things we've been working on for the past month, so that's a good thing."
