Lincoln Land has struggled some as of late and they found themselves still without 4 starters due to injury, leaving them shorthanded again tonight. The Loggers returned to play, taking on John Wood. 

The lack of numbers hurt LLCC in the first half as John Wood controlled most of the first half. Logger goalie Josue Resendiz came up with 2 big saves in the first half and was able to keep John Wood out of the goal. Nether team capitalized on theirs chances and went into the half tied at 0.

The second half was a different story as the Loggers now dominated play. The Loggers best chance was from Franco Clementi whose open shot on goal went just wide. Shortly after this Logger chance, John Wood got a breakaway with 8 minutes left in the game and scored. Unfortunately, the Loggers did not get another chance and fell 1-0. 

Lincoln Land falls to 1-5 (0-2 in conference) on the season and John Wood improves to 5-0.
