Loggers Defeat ICC and Advance to Region 24 Championship Game
Logger freshman pitcher Tess Beckham shutout the Cougars of Illinois Central College 1-0. the Loggers. Beckham allowed only 3 hits, with 6 Ks and 4 walks, as she went the distance to pick up her first win of post season play. The Loggers are 3-0 in Region 24 Tournament and 31-18 overall.
Nicole Robinson drive in Amber Ogden in the 4th inning. Ogden ran for Ashton Dyche after Dyche led off the inning with single to center. Addison Bryant, Madie Sims, Kaley Maurer also added hits in the big win.
LLCC will play (12:30 pm start) the winner of Danville and ICC game that begins at 11 am.
