Loggers Win 4-2 and 8-0 over Kankakee CC

Game One:
The Loggers collected 8 hits in game one of doubleheader with Kankakee on their way to a 4-2 victory.  Lincoln Land scored three runs in the 3^rd inning on 3 hits and a sacrifice fly.  LLCC added one run in the 5^th inning on a double by Madie Sims.  Kaley Maurer was 2-for-2, including a sacrifice bunt.

Tess Beckham (7-3) was the winning pitcher.  Beckham went the distance in game one, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits and 8 strikeouts with four walks.

Game Two:

The Loggers defeated Kankakee 8-0 in 5 innings on 10 hits.  Ashton Dyche was 2-for-3 with 3 RBIs along with Katie McLean who was 2-for-3 with a double.  Madie Sims (RBI) and Kari Sarhage (2 RBIs) had multiple hits with one double each.  Maddie Routh picked up her 5^th win on a 3-hit shutout.  Routh faced 18 batters with 1 strikeout and zero walks.

The 18^th ranked Loggers are now 26-16 overall.  They will travel to DACC on Friday and Parkland on Saturday for two MWAC doubleheaders.
