Loggers Lose 11-2, Win 9-0 to Stay Alive

Lincoln Land dropped their first game on Saturday, losing 11-2 against Danville Area Community College in the double elimination Region XXIV Tournament.  The second seeded Loggers had their chances early, but failed to get much offense going. With the Loggers leading 2-1, Danville was able to get the big hit first, when CJ Norman belted a two out grand slam in the top of the fifth to give the Jaguars a 5-2 lead, and they never looked back.  Danville added six more insurance runs over the next three innings to shorten the game to eight innings.
