take their thirteen game winning streak into the regional playoffs. The Loggers have won 22 of their last 23 games for a season ending mark of 38-8, 25-7 in the Midwest Athletic Conference.

It took eight innings, but the Loggers came out on top in game one, winning 5-4 in walk off fashion. Jonathan Walder (2 for 5, 2 RBIs) drove in pinch runner Austin Deal with his two out single to left for the game winning run. Nick Maton was 3 for 5 at the plate and got the win in relief by throwing two scoreless innings. Michael Ryan and Aaron Steinhoff added two hits apiece, including a two run home run off the bat of Steinhoff that tied the game at four in the fifth inning.

LLCC pounded out nine hits in game two and starter Rick Dour (7-1) struck out six in his five innings of work for a 9-1 Logger win. Nick Maton (3 RBIs) and Xavier Collier (2 RBIs) both doubled and CJ Fleming and Dalton Fletcher had two hits each to lead the Logger offense.

Lincoln Land will now play host for the Region XXIV Tournament that is scheduled to begin Thursday, May 18th. The Loggers are seeded 2, and will play the winner of the 3 vs. 6 seeds on Friday the 19th. Please check the LLCC website for updates and game times.
