The Loggers sweep the Millikin Big Blue Junior Varsity 6-1 and 4-2 in Decatur, Illinois.   Lincoln Land produced 6 runs on 6 hits and stranded 11 runners on base in game one.  The Loggers scored 3 runs in the first inning another run in the 4th and 2 more in the 5th. Kelsie Allen led the Loggers going 3-for-5 with a double and 1 RBI.  Morgan Heckman was the only other Logger with multiple hits as she went 2-for-4 with an RBI. Whitney David and Gracie Schweighart also had doubles in the win.  Freshman Brittany Roady was the winning pitcher. Roady threw 4 innings of shutout ball and allowed 1 hit while striking out 5 Millikin hitters.  Madison Routh finished the last 3 innings giving up 1 run on 4 hits with 5 strikeouts as well.

Millikin Big Blue scored first with 2 runs in the bottom of the 2nd inning.   The Loggers answered with 2 runs in the top of the 3rd. Lincoln Land scored 1 in the 6th and their final run in the 7th as Jordan Kraft (W) and Bri Graham combined to hold Millikin to 2 runs. Kraft went 5 innings, allowing 2 run on 5 hits and 3 strikeouts. Graham finished the last 2 innings to get the hold.  Katelyn Presley was 2-for-2 with a triple.  Ashton Dyche and Morgan Heckman each doubled in the win.

LLCC travels to Danville Area Community College tomorrow in a conference double header starting at 1 pm.  The Loggers will host DACC on Sunday.  The Loggers are now 14-14 on the year.
