Sophomore Morgan Heckman, a Riverton HS graduate was selected as the NJCAA Division II Position Player of the Week (April 10-16th).

Morgan Heckman is a left fielder and catcher for the Loggers.  Heckman hit .517 for the week with 4 doubles and 6 home runs.  She produced 21 RBIs and scored 10 runs with 4 walks and 3 stolen bases.   Overall this season, Morgan Heckman is hitting .403 with 11 home runs and 55 RBIs.  In addition, Heckman is hitting a stellar .438 with runners in scoring position and she has a .463 on base average.  She also leads the team in slugging with .750 percentage.

"Morgan is a hard worker who loves to hit," said coach Marsaglia. Morgan has committed to Quincy University to further her studies and softball career.
