The Loggers win two on the road at Lincoln, 3-2 and 12-4.
 

The Loggers scored two runs in the first inning in game one.  Katie McLean drew a lead off walk and was moved to 2nd on a sacrifice bunt by Kelsie Allen.  Morgan Heckman singled to center to drive in McLean. Ashton Dyche was hit by a pitch and moved to 2nd on a ground out by Maggie Comerford.  Katelyn Presley singled to center to drive in Dyche.  The Loggers scored their 3rd and final run in the 3rd inning after Allen reached on a HBP followed by a double from Comerford (2-3, 2B and RBI) to right center and scoring Allen from first.  Jordan Kraft (3-4) picked up the win as she went all 7 innings allowing only 2 runs on 7 hits and 2 strikeouts.

The Loggers came out fast in game two, scoring 12 runs on 15 hits.  Katelyn Presley led the Logger offense, going 4-4 with 3 RBIs, 2B and 3B.  "KP has hit the ball very well this weekend and played an exceptional shortstop," stated Coach John Marsaglia.  Gracie Schweighart was 3-3 with 2 RBIs, including a solo HR and a 2B.  Morgan Heckman continued her hot hitting as she went 2-3 with 2 RBIs, HR and 2 stolen bases.   Maddie Routh picked up the win as she went 5 innings, allowing 4 runs on 11 hits.  "Maddie wasn't as sharp today in locating her pitches, but I was very proud how she battled to get outs when we needed."  Bri Graham relieved Routh in the bottom of the 6th by throwing a scoreless inning for the 8 run ruled game 12-4.

The Loggers are now 12-14 on the year and 7-5 in the MWAC.  The Loggers will face Illinois Central on Wednesday for a Region 24 match up.
