Lincoln Land Community College defeats Lincoln Trail 25-16, 25-14, 25-19
LLCC swept visiting Lincoln Trail in three sets to run its record to 23-6. The Loggers played a steady match throughout the evening, paced by aggressive serving by freshman Delaney Edwards and her team-high five aces. Edwards also led in kills and digs for the night. "The best thing tonight," Coach Dietz said afterwards, "Was our serve-receive. I thought we had some great passing tonight from Michaela (Chrappa) and that let us run the offense we wanted. We worked on our slides and we got some rest for people who took a ton of swings on Saturday. I was happy with how tonight turned out."
Lincoln Land's record now stands at 23-6, and the Loggers next game is Friday at home vs Kirkwood CC and Johnson County
