The Loggers lost to Parkland Cobras today at home, 5-1 in their second MWAC game of the year.  The first half was a hard fought battle between the two teams with LLCC getting on the board first.  Eli Hopkins' pass to Brock Tober produced the first and only goal for the Loggers.  LLCC gave up a goal by Cobra's Patrick Kuanda late in the first half to end the half tied at 1-1. 

The Loggers had a breakdown in the first five minutes of second half play with the Cobras scoring three quick goals to take the lead 4-1.  Patrick Kuanda added two of the goals followed by a goal from Gesi Muharremi.  Muharremi added another goal with five minutes left in the game to make the final score 5-1.   Alex Hammerlink and Alex Clark shared duties as goalkeeper with each playing a half.

The Loggers are now 1-2 on the year and 0-2 in the MWAC.   LLCC will face off with another conference foe, Heartland Hawks on Saturday, 1 pm start in Normal, Illinois.
