LLCC Men's Soccer lost today to Jefferson College 3-0. The Loggers traveled to Hillsboro, Missouri with only 13 players due to the many injuries this year. Oscar Gordillo showed Jeff Co that he could compete and he did a very good job beating the defenders to create opportunities for the Loggers. "He created one chance that goalie made an incredible save," said coach Christofilakos. The Loggers battled hard but spent most of the time on defense. LLCC had 4 corners kicks to Jeff Co's 8. Alex Clark had 5 saves and allowed 2 goals in the first half at goalie. Both goals in the first half were scored by Andres Veizaga. Jordan Lovell and Kyle Goetz led the way defensively for LLCC. Alex Hamerlink took over the net in the second half and had 7 saves while giving up 1 goal on a penalty kick by Jacob Krupp. Jefferson College continued to control the ball most of the second half. LLCC will take on Broward College tomorrow (October 1st) in Hillsboro, Missouri at 10 am.
