Lincoln Land defeats Lewis & Clark 8-0 and 11-3 to sweep the Blazers in 4 game series and improve their record in the MWAC to 16-8.

The Loggers collected 10 hits in the 8 run ruled shortened game. Anna Walschleger led the offense going 4-for-4 with 2 runs scored and 2 stolen bases. Courtney Reeves was 2-for-2 with one RBI, and 3 runs. Morgan Heckman went 2-for-3 with 2 RBIs.
Morgan Mansur improved her record to 11-5 as she held the Blazers to 3 hits in the shut out win.
LLCC out hit the Blazers 14-7 in game two win. Maggie Comerford had a big night at the plate, going 4-for-4 and scoring 3 runs. Freshman infielder, Kelsie Allen also had a big offensive day as she went 2-for-3 and 4 RBIs, including the game winning sacrifice fly to left in the 6th inning. Jessica Hunt continued to swin a hot bat as she went 2-for-3 and scored 3 runs. Megan Ballegeer, 2-for-4, also added 2 hits in the win.
Bri Graham (7-3 W/L) allowed 3 runs (1 earned) on 7 hits.
"The key to game two win was the offensive production from the bottom half of our lineup. Hunt, Comerford, M. Ohnesorge and Ballegeer scored 9 runs on 11 hits," stated coach John Marsaglia. "We kept people off the bases and scored runs. Pitching was very good and and we hit well. When you score 19 runs in a double header, you will usually win."
