Second day in a row, softball was only able to complete one game due to rain as the Loggers lose to Illinois Central College 5-1.  

ICC scored first on a solo home run by Megan Foes to straight away center.  The Cougars added two runs in the second and two more in the 5th.  LLCC scored their only run in the 3rd inning as Taylen Balding walked with one out, followed by a base hit to left by Courtney Reeves.  Morgan Heckman hit into a fielder's choice moving Balding to 3rd.  Cindy Garces hit a RBI single to left.

Morgan Mansur (10-5) picked up the loss. Mansur allowed 5 runs on 10 hits with 3 walks and 2 strikeouts.  Courtney Reeves and Cindy Garces were both 2-for-3 on the day.

Game two of the today's double header is rescheduled for Monday at 4 pm.
