The Loggers lost game one of the double-header with Lake Sumter State College 4-1 and won the second game 8-5.   LSSC scored and unearned run in the first inning.  LLCC came back and tied the game 1-1 in the second inning.  LSSC scored two more runs which was enough for the win.   Brianna Graham (0-2) was the losing pitcher as she went 5 1/3 innings, allowing 4 runs (3 earned).   Lincoln Land could only produce 2 hits in the loss.

The Loggers rebounded in game two with their first win of the young season. LLCC scored 3 runs in the first, 1 in the third, 3 more in the fourth and one insurance run in the 6th.   LLCC hung on with win as Morgan Mansur went the distane and her first win.  Mansur allowed 5 runs (2 earned) and giving up 9 hits while striking out 6 hitters.

LLCC had 12 hits in the win. The Loggers had four players with multiple hits.  Cindy Garces was 3-for-3 with 2 doubles and 2 RBIs. Courtney Reeves, Madison Ohnesorge and Megan Aubuchon each had two hits.

"I was real proud of the way Morgan Mansur threw today," said Coach John Marsaglia.  "She was on with all of her pitches and she was spot on with hitting her locations."  The Loggers had 6 hits going in today's action and produced 14 hits in the two games.  "I think our hitting is coming around as we get more swings."
