Logger win 17-6

The Loggers scored in six of the nine innings on Saturday including an eight run 7th that put the game well in their hands. Lincoln Land sent 13 hitters to the plate that inning that was highlighted by a Ben Hecht 2-run homerun and a bases loaded triple by Zeke Rowe.
The Loggers had five players with multiple hits, totaling fifteen as a team on the day. Lead off hitter Tyler Borski led the way going 3 for 4 with 3 RBIs, falling just a homerun shy of the hit cycle. Ben Hecht finished his day 2 for 5, adding a double in the ninth inning, totaling 4 runs batted in on the day. Matt Sekardi was 3 for 5 with 3 singles and drove in two. Jake Morsch (2 for 5) and Xavier Collier (2 for 6) collected 2 hits each, Collier had a double and Morsch drove in three runs.
Noah Kesselmayer picked up the win in relief for the Loggers going two and two thirds innings, surrendering 3 earned runs on 6 hits. "We did a lot of things well today and played all around good baseball," coach Ron Riggle said after the game. " We look forward to ending our trip on a good note before we head home and into conference play next weekend."
The Loggers will end their Florida trip on Sunday when they take on Century College at 4:00.
