LLCC defeated Rend Lake in straight sets to advance to the Region XXIV Finals to be held at Illinois Central College on Saturday where the Loggers will play ICC who beat Lincoln College Wednesday night in five sets.  For the Loggers, they came out dominant from the start, notching a 25-7 win in the first set, and though Rend Lake reached 15 in the next two sets, the Loggers never trailed.  "We were focused, that's for sure.  Sometimes we have that light switch and don't show focus, and I think we had that happen a little last weekend, but not tonight.  It was all business and a nice team effort.  We're still alive, get to practice tomorrow,and we see how Saturday goes."

--The winner of the Saturday match advances to the NJCAA National Tournament in Charleston WV NOV 17-19.
