LLCC split in its last regular season matches with Sauk Valley avenging an earlier 3-0 defeat to the Loggers.  Other than the first game where Sauk Valley blew out the Loggers the games were all closely-contested affairs.  "When you get 60 or 70 digs in a match, you're playing good defense," Coach Dietz said, "But I think our players forgot just how good Bailey O'Brien (OH) is for Sauk Valley; she will be an all-American and when we forgot she was the primary hitter, boy did she make us pay.  The same for the other primary hitter SV has.  Not only are they a good team, they were able to keep us from doing what we want.  It was one of our poorer efforts serving today.  Now it's in the books and Monday we begin to get ready for the postseason."
