#5 LLCC defeated #10 Johnson in the final match of the evening tournament in a slugfest five-set match, 20-25, 20-25, 26-24, 25-18, 15-8 to pick up the team's 30^th win.  It was the second comeback from being down to two sets to none in the space of a week.  The key point was game three when LLCC received great contributions from Sabria Phillips and Sydney Jarrard as well as freshmen back row player Andie Sobotka and Michaela Chrappa.  "I have to admit," Coach Dietz said afterwards, "I was pretty mad after the first two games with some silly errors we made; we had a dozen service errors at that point.  We started game three with another a nd a couple hitting errors, and so I just subbed some people in, and they went out and just absolutely kicked butt.  It was the turning point because it also allowed some of our starters to clear their heads, let some frustration go, so that when we got to the fourth set, they were mentally squared away again."   That wasn't how the 4^th set started however as Johnson County pulled out to a 7-3 lead before Sydney Jarrard dominated the net with her blocking (Jarrard picked up six blocks in sets 4 and 5).  Game five was all LLCC as the Loggers never trailed.  "Everyone says that matches are about the team, but tonight, that was completely a team victory.  I am always happy that we do not quit. Ever."
