One substitute and the speed of East Central was too much for the Loggers as they lose on the road 7-3.  "Our kids fought hard and played very well," stated Coach Peter Christofilakos.  "They (East Central) are a very fast team who knocks the ball around very well."  The Loggers were down 4-0 at the half. "We battled back and scored 3 goals in the second half."  Oscar Gordillo held his own by scoring 2 goals for LLCC.  "Oscar has been able to score and beat defenders on every team we have faced.  He is by far one of the top forwards in the nation."
 
Gordillo beat three defenders to score his first goal and then beat two defenders, was fouled and scored his second goal on a penalty kick.  Blake Dannehold made a great run out of midfield to give an excellent pass to Gabriel Munoz for the third goal for the Loggers.  Alex Hamerlinck played all 90 minutes in the net and posted 8 saves against 7 goals.  East Central was led by #10, Jacob Moore.  "He is probably the best player we have seen all year," commented Coach Christofilakos.  Moore had 2 goals and 2 assists.
 
The Loggers will play UIS, Tuesday, October 18th at UIS (7 pm).
