Two days of extreme heat left the Loggers a little slow and sluggish as St. Louis CC out scored them 3-2., The Archers had a great start, scoring 2 goals in the first 20 minutes of the contest., LLCC fought back in the second half when Oscar Gordillo taken out in the box for a penalty kick., Naba Alzhyri then hit the penalty kick to make the score 2-1., The Archers answered back 10 minutes after the Logger goal on a break away goal. Coach Pete Christofilakos said, "We knocked on the door but never got anything until a minute left.", The Loggers' last goal came one minute left in the game on a long throw in by Jordan Lovell to Zephen Mereighn for the score.
The Loggers will travel to Bloomington, Illinois on Tuesday, September 8th to take on Heartland Community College.
