Bloomington, IL -
The Lady Loggers sweep the Hawks of Heartland, defeating them 21-8 and 11-1. LLCC produced 21 runs on 20 hits (17 RBIs) against 4 hits for the Hawks. Sadie Mosher (8-5) was the winning pitcher. Mosher went 5 innings and allowed 8 runs on 5 hits, 4 walks and 4 strikeouts. Mosher was also, 4-for-5 with 6 RBIs and 2 homeruns. LLCC had four other players with 3 hits each: Anna Walschleger (3-for-5), Cindy Garces (3-for-4), Miranda Esperum (3-for-4, 2 RBIs/HR) and Taylen Balding (3-for-4, 5 RBIs/HR).

Sophomore Sadie Mosher
The Loggers kept the hitting going in game two out hitting the Hawks 15-4. Anna Walschleger was 3-for-5 and Rachel Hastings was 3-for-4. Rachel Wisner and Lindsay Floyd hit their first homers of the year. Floyd was 2-for-4 with a double as well as the homerun, and 5 RBIs. Miranda Esperum and Alex Hamm were both 2-for-4. Sophomore Hayley Long (9-3) was the winning pitcher. The Hawks scored 1 run (unearned) in the bottom of the 7th inning to ruin the shutout for Hayley Long. Long gave up 4 hits, 3 walks and 7 strikeouts.
LLCC is now 22-10 on the year and 9-1 in the MWAC.
