The 26-11 Loggers swept the Cobras on the road, 8-2 and 2-1. Game one, the Loggers shot past Parkland in the 7th inning as they scored 5 runs on 3 hits. Will Schneider and Carter Pranger both hit doubles for the Loggers. Four of the 5 runs were unearned as the Cobras committed 2 errors. Carter Pranger was 1-for-3 with 2 RBIs. Colby Griggs went 2-for-3 and 1 RBI. Ryan Arnold (6-1) was the winning pitcher. Arnold struck out 9 hitters and gave up 4 hits.
Nick Lonergan's RBI single in the 9th inning put the Loggers on top for win. Lonergan, 1-for-4 drove in the first run on a ground out in the 2nd inning. Konnor Aherin (3-2) went 8 2/3 innings and Nick Lonergan picked up his 7th save of the year in relief. The Loggers are now 15-6 in the MWAC.
