LLCC baseball defeated Spoon River 12-2 and 8-0 today at Claude Kracik Field.  Zach Barnhart led all Logger hitters going 3-for-4 with 1 RBI.  Will Schneider had 2 hits with 3 RBIs, including a doube.  Carter Pranger had 2 hits with 2 RBIs and a double. Conor White and Austin Muench each had a double.   The Loggers had a big first inning, scoring 8 runs on 5 hits.  Zach Barnhart and Will Schneider both hit safely in the inning.  Austin Mueninch had a double and 2 RBIs in the first inning.  Lucas Hall was the winning pitcher for the Loggers. Hall (1-1) went 5 innings, allowing 2 runs on 2 hits and recoring 1 strikeout.

The Loggers came out quickly in game two of the double-header.  The Loggers scored 5 runs in the first inning.  Austin Muench was the only Logger with multiple hits (3-for-3, 2 RBIs).  Matt Tomazolli was the winning pitcher.  Three pitchers teamed up for the Loggers to shutout Spoon River 8-0.  Matt Tomazzoli (3-1) received the win.  Tomazzoli went 5 innings and giving up only 3 hits.  Connor Creasy and Nick Lonergan each threw one inning in relief.  Lonergan struckout the side to complete the game.
