The Loggers lose double-header to Heartland Community College, 6-5 and 8-2 in very cold contest on the LLCC campus.

The Loggers produced only 5 hits in game one., The nine inning contest was very close throughout the game., Heartland score 4 runs in the 6th inning to lead 5-0 but LLCC answered with 3 runs in the bottom half., The Hawks added an insurance run in the 8th and again the Loggers answered with 2 runs in the bottom half which was not enough, losing to the Hawks 6-5.

Pat Martin (3-0) was the winning pitcher for the Hawks., Konnor Aherin (1-3) picked up the loss., Aherin went 5.1 innings and allowed 5 runs, all earned., Designated hitter Drew Levitt was 2-for-4 and Colby Griggs was 1-for-4 with 2 RBIs.

The Logger bats became even colder in game two and they were out hit 11-2., Winning pitcher was Tyler Hasper (1-0)., Hasper went the distance,allowing 2 runs,and striking out 9 Logger hitters., Lucas Hall (0-1) collected the loss going,3.1 innings before being relieved by Matt Tomazzoli., Hall allowed,7 runs on 7 hits and Tomazzoli allowed 1 run on,4 hits., Will Schneider and Nick Lonergan,had the only hits for the Loggers.
