The Loggers weren't able to produce the runs needed to beat conference foe Illinois Central in a double header at East Peoria today., Game one the Loggers produced 8 hits only to lose 6-5 as the Cougars out hit them with 12 hits.,The turning point of the game came in the bottom of, 7th inning, as ICC scored,4 runs on 4 hits and 3 untimely errors by the Loggers. Will Schneider (2-for-4, 1 RBI),and Carter Pranger (2-for-4), were the only, multiple hitters for LLCC.  Schneider had 2 doubles as Pranger added 1 double.
Sawyer Howard pitched 6 1/3 innings, allowing 5 runs (2 earned) on 8 hits,in the 29 batters faced. Lucas Hall relieved Howard and threw the last 1 2/3 innings allowing 1 run.

LLCC scored 6 runs on 5 hits to lose to ICC 9-6 in game two., The Loggers scored 2 runs in the first inning on 2 RBI single by Colby Griggs (1-for-3)., The Loggers scored 1 run in the, 4th inning on a triple by Nick Lonergan driving in Jake Morsch who reached first on an infield hit. LLCC scored 3 runs in the 5th inning on 2 hits. Zach Barnhart and Conor White reached safely on a walk and base hit., Both runners advanced on a pass ball and Will Schneider singled up the middle driving in both runners., Carter Pranger flew out to right for a sacrifice fly (RBI) driving in Schneider.

The Logger pitchers allowed 9 runs on 11 hits. Matt Tomazzoli (1-1) picked up the loss in relief.  Again errors plagued the Loggers as they committed 4. Tomazzoli pitched 3 innings, allowing 5 runs (3 earned) on 6 hits.

LLCC is now 11-7 on the year.
