The Loggers lost a tough one tonight against 20th ranked Parkland College 1-0 in a big conference matchup.  First half play was even for the first 20 minutes of the match.  The Loggers made a defensive error that lead to a Parkland receiving a penalty kick and what turned out to be the winning goal.  LLCC finished the half putting pressure on the Cobras but were unable to find the back of the net. 

The second half saw LLCC with the majority of possessions and numerous goal scoring opportunities.  Despite the chances LLCC were unable to score against the defensively tough Parkland Cobras.  The fought battle ended with Parkland edging out LLCC 1-0.

Logger Coach Shawn Dunas stated,  "I was very pleased with their effort tonight. This is the best we have played all year. We strung together passes and created scoring opportunities...we had an unlucky penalty kick and that was the difference in the match.  The boys gave a solid effort and played hard for 90 minutes.  I hope they gained as much confidence in their play as they have instilled in me."


The Loggers (5-5) will travel to Lewis & Clark on Thursday, September 25th to play there first region match of the season.
