Lincoln Loggers defeated John Wood in game one of the Region 24 playoffs 8-6 in eleven innings., The Loggers advance to the next round against Illinois Central College. Logger shortstop Will Schneider hit a 2 run walk off home run in the bottom of the 7th to drive home Tyler Borski who had reached base on an error., Schneider was 2-5, with 4 RBIs (HR and 2B)., Adding to the,hitting, Justin Palmer was 3-5 allong with Neal Aherin who was also 3-for-5.

Sawyer Howard was the starting pitcher who was relieved with two outs in the 6th inning by Logan Faber. Faber the set up man was relieved,
by Blake Welch (W, ,4-0) in the,8th.

LLCC won game two of the Region 24 Tournament by the score of 9-6., The Loggers big inning came in the 7th inning as they scored 5 runs on 2 hits., LLCC collected 9 hits but stranded 12 runners on base., Will Schneider went 2-for-4 and Neal Aherin was 2-for-5.Nick Lonergan was,1-for-2,and a ,3 run home run in the 9th inning.

Ridge Ackerman (10-1) was the winning pitcher for the Loggers., Ackerman went,8.1innings, allowing 6 runs (1 earned) on 6 hits while striking out 12 Cougar hitters.

The Loggers advance,in the Region 24 Tournament to play Heartland CC at 3 pm on Saturday.
