The Loggers finish the regular season 45-12 (Season Record).  LLCC came back in game one being down 8-4 to score 8 runs, 4 in the 7th, to lose the conference game 10-8.  Whitley Baker (8-1) picked up her first loss of the season in nine appearances. Baker went the distance giving up 10 runs (4 earned) on 14 hits. Laura Bonds and Rachel Wisner were both 2-for-4.  Wisner had a double and 3 RBIs.  Rachel Hastings was 1-for-3 including 3 run homer in the 7th.

LLCC gave up 7 runs in the first two innings before starting pitcher Sadie Mosher figured out how to stop the hot bats of Heartland.  Mosher went the distance (6 innings).  Mosher held the Hawks scoreless in the last four innings of work. Mosher allowed only 2 hits in the last four innings. Sophomore outfielder Torey Sorensen was 2-for-3 with 1 RBI.   Claire Dubree, who replaced the injured Rachel Wisner, went 1-for-2 with a pinch hit double and RBI in the 4th.

The Loggers will begin Region XXIV playoffs this Thursday, at the Round House Complex in Mattoon, Illinois.
