Logger Softball won two games in Canton, Illinois by the 8 run rule, 9-0 and 11-0.  Morgan Smith (W, 8-0) went all 6 innings.  Smith gave up 3 hits and struck out 5 Spoon River hitters.  Lauren Windisch went 3-for-4 and Melinda Wilson was 2-for-3.  Laura Bonds, 1-for-3 with 2 RBIs.  Rachel Hastings had a triple along with doubles by Kayla Jacobs and Melinda Wilson. 

The Loggers had 17 hits to power past Spoon River in game two.  Melinda Wilson led the Logger offense going 3-for-3 with a 3 run home run in the 2nd inning.   Laura Bonds was 2-for-3 with 3 RBIs.  Katie Price, Kayla Jacobs, Rachel Hastings, Sadie Mosher and Stephanie Watkins were 2-for-4 in the Logger offense.  Katie Lange picked up the win allowing 2 hits and striking out 6.

LLCC is now 45-10 and 22-4 in the MWAC.
