The Loggers battled to win game one 13-5 in the last two innings. LLCC came back to tie the game in the 7th inning 5-5 only to put the game away in the 8th inning scoring 8 runs for the win. Drew Levitt led off the 8th inning with an infield hit. Will Schneider was then hit by a pitch. Both runners advanced a base after a wild pitch. Sam Goode singled up the middle to drive in Levitt and Schneider. Colby Griggs bunted Goode to third. Bryce Wright singled to right scoring Goode. Neal Aherin singled to right advancing followed by a walk to Nicholas Roubidoux. Runners at 2nd and third, Austin Muench singled to left scoring Wright and Aherin. Drew Levitt picked up his second hit of the inning scoring Roubidoux. Will Schneider then singled to left driving in Muench. Sam Goode struck out but reached 1st on a wild pitch; Levitt scored as well. Colby Griggs flied out to end the inning. Neal Aherin went 5-for-5 to lead the Logger offense. Sam Goode and Will Schneider added 3 hits each in the winning effort. Logan Faber pitched three innings followed by Blake Welch who went 3.2 innings. Lucas Hall finished the game as he pitched 1.1 innings for the win.
The results reversed for the Loggers almost mirror perfect to finish with the win for the Cobras 12-5. LLCC scored 3 runs in the first but Parkland responded with 3 of their own. With the scored 5-5 going into the bottom of the 5th the Cobras exploded with 7 runs to take the lead and ultimately the win. The Logger pitching staff could not shut down the offensive punch in the 5th. Sawyer Howard (2-4) was credited with the loss. Shortstop Will Schneider (2-for-3) was the only hitter with multiple hits. The Loggers were held to just 5 hits in the second game.
