Logger softball sweep Lewis & Clark 12-1 and 21-2, to increase their win streak to 13 games. Freshman Hayley Long (4-1) went 4 innings and striking out 3 to pick up the win. Katie Lange threw the last inning and allowed 1 run on 2 hits. Lauren Windisch, Kayla Jacobs, Payton Billups, Rachel Wisner and Lindsay Floyd had two hits each in today's offensive punch for the Loggers. Payton Billups hit her 10
th homerun of the year and had 3 RBIs. Rachel Wisner had 2 doubles along with doubles by Payton Billups, Claire Dubree and Lauren Windisch had the only triple for the LLCC.
LLCC scored 21 runs on 17 hits in game two. Katie Price was 4-for-5 with 1 RBI and Kayla Jacobs went 3-for-5 including a triple, homerun and 6 RBIs. Melinda Wilson, Torey Sorensen and Stephanie Watkins had two hits each. Morgan Smith (5-0) got the win going 4 innings and allowing 1 run on 1 hit (home run by Christina White). Smith gave up 1 walk and striking out 7 L&C hitters. Sadie Mosher finished the game in relief allowing 1 run on 3 hits.
