Lincoln Land Community College baseball split with Waubonsee CC, winning 6-5 in game one and losing 5-4 in the nightcap. LLCC scored 2 runs in the first inning on hits by Austin Muench, Neil Aherin and Will Schneider. The Loggers were held scoreless in the 2^nd and 7^th innings but managed to stay on top for the closely contested game. Shortstop Will Schneider was 3-for-4 with 3 RBIs to lead the Logger offense.

Sophomore pitcher Reed Willenborg picked up the win going 6 innings allowing 5 runs (2 earned) on 8 hits and 2 strikeouts. Nick Lonergan pitched the last inning picking up his 5^th save on the year.

The Loggers were held to just 4 hits in game two. Waubonsee scored 3 runs in the 7^th inning to take the lead going into the bottom of the 7^th. LLCC needed four runs to tie the game but only produced 3 runs to fall short in the loss. LLCC had no players in multiple hits. Sawyer Howard (1-1) went 6.1 innings, allowing all 5 runs in the loss.

Lincoln Land Community College is now 10-5 on the year.
